Behind the Scenes of Nationwide Wholesale and Dropship Fulfillment at Flipside
Oct 27th 2026
Flipside Products helps retailers, ecommerce companies, wholesalers and distributors stock and ship educational, office and presentation products across the United States. From our Cincinnati-area distribution and production facilities, we support parcel shipments, dropship programs, LTL orders and full-truckload deliveries.
Over the past 35+ years, Flipside has grown its operations and expanded its fulfillment capabilities to support partners of all sizes. That growth allows us to offer more ways to order and ship, backed by reliable order processing, delivery coordination, and pricing designed for wholesale and reseller relationships.
We’re proud to offer a variety of fulfillment solutions, including domestic warehousing, private labeling, dropship fulfillment, LTL, and full-truckload shipments. These options give partners more flexibility to manage inventory, limit upfront investment, and choose how products reach their customers.
Where Are Flipside Products Stored and Orders Fulfilled?
Our 38,000-square-foot headquarters and distribution center in Blue Ash, Ohio, is complemented by our 32,000-square-foot production facility in Cincinnati, Ohio, just a short drive away.
Between both facilities, we stock nearly 1,000 SKUs and plan to add more stocking and picking locations over the next year to make better use of our space.
Our central Cincinnati, OH location provides access to multiple parcel and freight carriers and allows us to efficiently ship throughout the country. We work with UPS, FedEx Ground, and a variety of LTL and full-truckload carriers depending on what the order needs.
How Does Flipside Process Wholesale Orders?
Wholesale orders come through our EDI Coordinator or directly through our Customer Service and Sales representatives, depending on each partner’s ordering setup. Electronic data interchange (EDI) lets participating partners send orders directly between their system and ours. Our team coordinates processing and shipping to match the customer’s fulfillment needs.
How Does Flipside’s Dropship Fulfillment Program Work?
Flipside’s dropship program gives businesses the opportunity to expand their product assortment without stocking those products themselves. When a customer places an order, we process it through EDI and ship it directly to the partner’s customer.
You sell it. We stock it and ship it.
Dropship orders are processed alongside our other customer orders. Our EDI Coordinator helps keep inventory availability information up to date, so partners can see what is in stock and available to sell.
We also use Salsify to manage our product images, descriptions, specifications, and other content partners need to create their online listings.
Our Sales team can help with product selection, too. Using years of sales data and product history, we can recommend options that fit your business and build an assortment around products we’ve seen sell successfully.
With Flipside handling inventory and fulfillment, partners can save warehouse space and reduce the upfront investment needed to offer additional products.
Less inventory. Less risk. Flip and ship.
What Parcel, LTL, and Full-Truckload Shipping Options Does Flipside Offer?
Flipside supports parcel, less-than-truckload (LTL), and full-truckload shipping for orders of different sizes. The appropriate option depends on the products, quantities, shipment dimensions, weight, and delivery requirements.
Parcel Shipping
Parcel shipping supports smaller wholesale orders and individual dropship orders sent directly to customers. We work with UPS and FedEx Ground, depending on what the shipment needs.
For partners ordering smaller quantities or using our dropship program, parcel shipping provides a way to move products without arranging a palletized freight shipment.
LTL Shipping
Less-than-truckload shipping is an option when an order is too large for parcel delivery but does not require a full trailer. LTL shipments share trailer space with other freight and often range from one to ten pallets, depending on the shipment’s size, weight, and requirements.
Retailers, ecommerce companies, wholesalers, and distributors can use LTL to replenish inventory without ordering a full truckload. It may be more cost-effective when an order does not require an entire trailer, while providing flexibility to manage shipping quantities, warehouse space, and cash flow.
Full-Truckload Shipping
Flipside is also equipped to handle large-volume orders through full-truckload shipping. This option uses a dedicated trailer rather than sharing space with other shipments.
Our warehouse and production teams coordinate available inventory, production needs, and shipment timing for larger orders.
Whether you need individual packages, a few pallets, or a full truckload, our team works with you to find the shipping approach that makes the most sense for your order.
How Does Flipside Support Partners Behind the Scenes?
Our Customer Service representatives work with warehouse and production teams to answer questions, coordinate specific requirements, and provide availability updates.
Working together allows us to support orders of different sizes for retailers, ecommerce businesses, wholesalers, and distributors across the country. Whether products are headed to a partner’s facility or directly to a customer, our team provides communication and support along the way.
